Groysman promises to “restore order” with the shadow flows at customs

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman called “abnormal” the situation at the customs and promises to set things straight with the shadow threads. The corresponding statement he made at a meeting of the National Council of reforms in Kyiv, which was broadcast “112 Ukraine”.

“At customs, I think today the situation is not normal. We know that in the SFS, at customs, there is the shadow threads that need to go into the Central budget, but do not reach – it is a challenge for all of us to put things in order in this sphere, and is accounted for each UAH”, – said Groisman.

He said that the plan of receipts of payments from the customs office is 207 billion a year and the State fiscal service (SFS) exceed the plan, however, “there is a deficit of the Pension Fund”.

According to him, the issue of restore order at the customs have the full support of the President and Parliament.

“We will quickly restore order and make records so that people were absolutely clear: what products are moving, what is their customs value as necessary to respond to a smuggling, lost wages and more,” added the newly elected Prime Minister.

He also called unacceptable the management of customs operations in “manual mode”.

Earlier Groisman promised that within 2 weeks will develop a plan for facilitation for Ukrainian customs.
