In monetary terms for the six months 2018 exports of goods and services from Ukraine to the EU grew by $1.8 billion.

For the first half of exports of goods and services from Ukraine to the EU increased by 35%. This was announced by Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman on Friday, August 17.

“At the end of the first half are a good plus. The EU market also remains number one for the Ukrainian exporters: + 12.7 per cent growth in merchandise exports, + 5.7 per cent growth of exports of services + 35% growth of exports of goods and services in the EU”, – Groysman wrote in Facebook.

In turn, the Ministry of economic development and trade announced Wednesday that in monetary terms for the six months 2018 exports of goods and services from Ukraine to the EU grew by $1.8 billion compared to analogichnym period 2017 to $11.2 billion.

As of January-June 2018 most of all, Ukraine sells to EU metals and products from them – $2.4 billion, mechanical and electrical equipment and machinery of $1.5 billion, the products of plant origin of $1.3 billion.

Recall that for the first five months of 2018, the growth of Ukrainian exports to the EU slowed to 21.3% to $8.19 billion.
