Icelandic low cost carrier WOW air in the near future intend to pay the passengers for flying with them. This information in an interview with Telegraph Travel reported the founder and owner of the airline whine Mogensen.

In his opinion, the budget airline will be able to offset the cost of transportation of passengers using other services — for example, hotels or rental cars.

“In the future we will be able to pay to have you fly with us. If you come to us, you trust us with your reservations, we will be able to reduce the fare of your ticket to zero and we will reward you for it,” said Mogensen.

At the moment, WOW air specializiruetsya on the implementation of the budget transatlantic flights through its hub in Reykjavik. The company offers to fly from main European cities in the U.S. for just $ 199, and Reykjavik for $ 99.

As reported, Ukraine is actively discussing the attraction of low-cost airlines. In particular, on 17 July, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman offered to do the airport Gostomel base for lowcost, including airline Ryanair.

Currently, the state enterprise Antonov, a working group for the preparation of a business plan for use of the airfield as a base of low-cost airlines.
