The international monetary Fund in July will consider the results of Ukrainian reforms on the Board of Directors. This statement was made head of the IMF mission Ron van Ore, which worked in Ukraine from 10 to 18 may this year, the press service of the Fund.

The mission noted that over the past year, Ukraine has made significant progress in restoring economic stability, and is critical in the continued implementation of structural and institutional reforms.

“It is therefore important that the authorities strengthen their efforts to consolidate fiscal and financial stability, determined to increase transparency and ensure the rule of law and for reforming the large and inefficient public sector enterprises. The implementation of decisive measures in these areas will pave the way for pronouncement of the results of the review to the Board of Executive Directors of the IMF, which is expected in July 2016,” he said.

We will remind, the Finance Ministry said that the essence of the mission – harmonization of the text of the Memorandum on cooperation. Deputy Minister of Finance Yuriy Butsa predicts that the IMF Executive Board, tentatively in June will consider the issue of continuation of cooperation with Ukraine according to the EFF program.

Open the IMF in March 2015 the four-year EFF program for Ukraine totaling SDR 12.348 billion (about $ 17 billion.) originally intended to hold quarterly program review, the allocation of Kiev 2015, in four tranches, and in 2016 – four more. However, to date the country has received only the first tranche of funds to $ 5 billion. and second – 1.7 billion.
