Over the Australian city of Perth, 28 August at 19:40 local time, a meteorite flying. As reported by Naked science, video surveillance cameras mounted on cars and houses, were able to capture this moment.

“I heard a deafening roar, it sounded like something exploded,” said one of the witnesses Rosen Cox, who lives 125 miles from Perth.

Another witness, Robin Garret, says he saw the flash: “We heard the noise, saw the light and thought it was lightning, but the roar that followed was definitely not thunder. Glass in the Windows and the house shook from the impact, the dog went crazy. In York all ran outside, thinking that the sky fell upon the earth.”

Professor Phil bland said the outbreak was unusually bright, so the probability that the object is big: “We have received the image from different cameras, which means we will be able to triangulate where a meteorite flying, to determine which had the speed and what size. We know where he landed and what part of the Solar system has arrived. Usually they fly at a speed of 17 kilometers per second in the upper atmosphere, but if it was later reduced to four, it is likely that preserved”.

Earlier, several dozen residents of the U.S. state of Alabama witnessed a huge bright ball in the sky that exploded in the night.
