Great Britain allocates to Ukraine 35 million pounds
Within two years Britain will provide Ukraine more than 35 million pounds to reform.
UK in the current and next year offered Ukraine more than 35 million pounds to the fight against corruption, reforms and security. On Thursday, December 6, said in a statement in Twitter by the British Embassy in Ukraine.
“In the 2018/19 financial year the UK government provides more than 35 million pounds in aid to Ukraine, supporting more than 70 projects in 7 areas: administration reforms, the fight against corruption, communication, conflict, stability and security, humanitarian issues, human rights, education and culture”, – stated in the message.
British Ambassador to Ukraine Judith Gough said that “Ukraine remains a priority in view of the long-term security, stability and prosperity of the European continent and is an important area for the UK.”
We will remind, today it became known that EU will increase its assistance to South-Eastern Ukraine, which suffered economic losses due to the restriction of Russian access to Ukrainian ports.
Earlier it was reported that Germany will provide Ukraine almost 85 million euros for technical and financial assistance.
