About 50 protesters are demanding a meeting with the head of customs. They consider unjustified increase in customs duties.

In Ivano-Frankivsk near the customs post on Monday, 12 November, about fifty people, who use cars on foreign registration, are protesting because of the increase of customs duties. It is reported by a Reporter with reference to the press service of the patrol police of Ivano-Frankivsk region.

It is noted that protesters set fire to tires.

“Behave calmly”, – noted in police patrol.

 

 

Recall, November 8, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the bill on amendments to the Customs code, which relate to the importation of vehicles into the territory of Ukraine.

Council also adopted a new law on the customs clearance of the imported goods in Ukraine of vehicles with foreign registration.
