“A terrible disaster happened in the family of close friends, their 13-year-old daughter, Sophia, fell from the sixth floor! Young krivorozhane seriously injured, is in a coma, she has a head injury, ruptured lungs, a triple fracture of the spine! Now sent to Mechnikov. Sonia is an excellent student, candidate master of sports in Sambo, the only child in the family. Parents in shock,” wrote friends of the child in the social network.
On Wednesday, the girl’s mother reported her condition.
“At this point Sonya is positive dynamics. Was trying to get out of the coma. It was put into artificial sleep. The worst thing is the brain and the lungs. Observed swelling of the brain, which at the moment does not require surgical intervention. We hope that swelling has not increased. With regard to the lung, doctors warned of further inflammation… the way out of the difficult state of the individual. The most important thing to survive the critical 7-14 days…,” wrote Kassian.
She also added that now her daughter in the hospital. National and regional children’s intensive care.
