The Minister of internal Affairs of Latvia Richard Kozlowski urged the European Union not to delay the decision on the abolition of visas for Ukraine and Georgia. It is reported Delfi with reference to the Advisor Kozlovskis the Daiga Hill.

According to Hills, at the meeting of Ministers of justice and home Affairs of the EU Committee supported the early introduction of a visa-free regime for Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey and Kosovo. He also singled out Ukraine and Georgia, which have fulfilled all of the conditions.

“We must be consistent in their actions and decisions, because we are talking about the criteria that we put forward,” – said Kozlovskis.

We will remind, foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin urged not to disseminate information about the postponement of the introduction of a visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU. According to him, in Brussels discussed the procedure for the rapid termination of visa-free regime in the case of serious violations, in particular the occurrence of migration crises. Klimkin said that the issue should be discussed at the meeting of Ministers of internal Affairs of the European Union.
