“The working group on security discussed the issue of ceasefire. In this regard, I would like to make the following statement: Tripartite contact group with participation of representatives of the ORDO and ORLO said about the necessity of the indefinite ceasefire in connection with the start of the new academic year, starting from midnight August 31. I personally urge all parties to Express their support for this statement at the highest level,” he said.

Sidik said that it is really a joint initiative of all parties to the Tripartite contact group. He drew particular attention to the word “indefinite” regarding the ceasefire.

He recalled that exactly a year ago this initiative was also nominated and were generally implemented.

“We have to do it again. I hope the support of the media in this matter. It really is the initiative of all sides in the trilateral Contact group,” said Sidik.

The next meeting of the Trilateral contact group planned in Minsk on September 7.

Earlier, the Ukrainian side following the talks, expressed readiness to serious compromises for the exchange of prisoners.
