In turn, Pristayko said that Ukraine raises the question of Leadership at all levels, because it really wants to get the judge.

“If our Moldovan friends need time to approach this issue, we’ll wait, but we hope that this moment would come soon enough,” said Pristayko.

In March 2017, the Chisinau court of arrested former judge for 15 days for illegal crossing of the Moldavian border. However, on 22 April he was released.

The Moldovan authorities refused to grant political asylum to the Chaus, but the decision on extradition is still pending.
