In Parliament explained why it adopted the law Poroshenko

В Раде объяснили, почему приняли закон Порошенко

Dmitry Razumkov explained why the Parliament adopted the law on immunity of the authorship of Petro Poroshenko.

The Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday, September 3, adopted the law on immunity of the authorship of the fifth President Petro Poroshenko to save time. About that today at the briefing said the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmitry Razumkov, reports UNN.

“It was the fastest way to make MPs just like all other citizens of the country. We could go the other way, but it would take a year, maybe more. We believe that it is not so important who is the Creator of the law and who wrote it, and essentially who accepted it,” said Razumkov.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine abolished parliamentary immunity. The bill provides for the abolition of parliamentary immunity from 1 January 2020.
