After a few days of the strike Ternopil drivers of minibuses resumed work. The relevant agreement was reached late Wednesday evening, 7 November, the press service of the city Council.

After meeting with the city head Sergey Nadal carriers have agreed to work at the old rates.

“Carriers have agreed to enter the routes because they were asked clear requirement or to resume the movement of public transport, or city Council terminates an agreement with them. Now determined that carriers will run on the old rates (4-5 UAH) pending the conclusion of an independent examination regarding the calculation of tariffs, decisions of parliamentary committees and relevant decisions of the Executive Committee”, – is spoken in the message.

To resolve the situation with the tariffs of the parliamentary Commission will hold today, November 8, meeting. After receiving the results of the activities of the commissions and independent expertise from the auditing company, the cost of travel in public passenger transport will be reviewed.

Recall, November 5, under public pressure, the city of Ternopil has cancelled increase of tariffs for journey in public transport. Thus, the cost of travel in the bus back from 9 to 4-5 UAH, as it was before 1 Nov.

In response, on November 6, private carriers was stopped on routes, demanding to raise fare.

In turn, drivers of Ternopil began the flash mob #Ride.
