In Texas, police shot and killed a black man for refusing to drop the gun

Police in Houston, Texas, fired several shots at an armed black man, who from the received wounds has died. It is reported CBS News citing local authorities. The incident occurred in the night from 8 to 9 July.

Two police officers saw on the road a man with a firearm in his hand, ignored the request to remove it. After that the police fired several shots in the black.

The identity of the deceased is not established. The police have launched an internal investigation of the incident. It is reported that the police were experienced officers with 10 and 13 years of service experience.

In the night of 8 July, during a protest against the police action in Texas Dallas was opened fire on a group of guards. Three law enforcement officers died on the spot, two died later in hospital. Another six police officers were injured, two of them in critical condition. The suspect in the attack was blocked in the underground Parking lot and destroyed by a robot.

The reason for mass unrest was the murder of two blacks by the police in the States of Louisiana and Minnesota. In the latter case, a police officer stopped the car for check of documents, which were 32-year-old Fernando Castille, with his girlfriend Lovisa Reynolds and four-year old daughter diamond. According to Reynolds, the guards shot four times in Castille, when he reached into his pocket for rights.
