В Крыму после аннексии выросла смертность

In 2016, the mortality in the Peninsula reached 6029 people a year.

In the Autonomous Republic of Crimea after the occupation of the Peninsula has increased the number of deaths. This is evidenced by data from the Federal state statistics service of the Russian Federation, reports Ukrainska Pravda.

As noted, since 2007 the mortality rate in the Crimea is gradually decreased. In particular, the number of deaths in 2007 was 31 253 persons, and in 2013 – 27 000.

However, over the three years of occupation of the Crimea, the mortality on the Peninsula grew by almost 2,000 people per year.

With regard to natural population growth, the improvement of this indicator began in 2005, when the decline amounted to slightly more than 13 000 people per year. To 2013 it decreased to 2974 people.

Starting in 2014 the population decline accelerated and in 2016 was already 6029 people a year.

We will remind, the main cause of mortality in Ukraine, especially among men, is cardiovascular disease.

Also we will remind that the Ministry of health said that changes for Ukrainians after the launch of health reform from 1 January 2018.
