The Eurozone economy is growing since mid-2013

GDP growth in the Eurozone for the year was 2.1%.

In the second quarter of 2017 GDP in 19 countries of the European monetary Union increased by 0.6% compared with the previous quarter, Eurostat reported.

The equivalent figure for the first three months of current year has made 0,5%. Meanwhile, if you compare economic indicators for the second quarter from the same period in 2016, the GDP growth in the Eurozone for the year was 2.1%.

In the preliminary report for the second quarter did not include the data for Germany. Information on the GDP of Germany for the period from April to June will be published in mid-August. After this data throughout the Euro area can also be adjusted.

Experts believe that these figures indicate a further recovery in market conditions in the countries of the Eurogroup, the economy of which for several years has fallen on hard times. Since mid 2013, the Eurozone economy re-entered the growth stage.
