In the Kachanovsky penal colony №54 (Kharkiv) on Wednesday, a solemn registration of marriage sentenced to life imprisonment.

As the press service of the State penitentiary service of Ukraine (Gpts), such a ceremony took place in Ukraine for the first time.

“This is the first time for all years of the existence of a sector medium level of security for the detention of women to life imprisonment, when convicted, were married”, – the press service quoted Deputy head of the socio-educational and psychological work of the Kachanivska penal colony, Irina Evreinova.

With her future husband met already convicted in the colony. The first meeting took place on photos, then they texted, talked on the phone, and then Yuri came to Catherine for a date. After about a year after meeting he proposed to her.

After the celebrations on the occasion of the marriage, the newlyweds were given the gift date.

Earlier in a British prison Full Sutton, two assassins entered into a same-sex marriage.
