В оккупированном Крыму исключили проведение Евровидения-2017 на полуострове

Authorities temporarily occupied Crimea has said that the song contest “Eurovision-2017”, which will be held in Ukraine in any case will not take place on the Peninsula. About it said the Vice-Premier of the Crimean government Dmitry Polonsky, reports “RIA Novosti”.

Polonsky had prevented the holding of the Eurovision song contest in the Crimea, but in that case, if Kiev will rename some controlled region of Crimea.

“If the Ukrainian authorities with their usual zeal rename one of their regions in the “Crimea”, there, apparently, they have something to hold and you can. But as for the plans of the contest the following year in the Crimea, which is Russian territory, these plans will not come true ever. Let the dream. There is a good Ukrainian saying that goes something like this: “Fool Dumka richer”. This is one of those times”, – said Polonsky.

He also stated that the ESC determines solely on the results of spectator sympathies, most of which went to the Russian artist Sergey Lazarev, who took third place with the song “You are the only one”.

We will remind, the representative from Ukraine Jamal took first place in the final of the Eurovision song contest in 2016, the second place took the singer Demi Im from Australia. Third place was awarded to Russian singer Sergey Lazarev. The Russians gave up 10 points in the Eurovision song contest representative from Ukraine Jamal. This is evidenced by the results of the vote. In turn, the Ukrainians gave to the representative of Russia Sergey Lazarev 12 points.

After that, a number of Ukrainian politicians and public figures, in particular Yulia Tymoshenko and Andriy Parubiy expressed confidence that the Eurovision should be held in the Crimea.
