Vasily nimchenko has demanded from the Chairman of the Committee on culture and spirituality “control the market”.

Thursday, April 11, during the consideration of amendments to the “language” bill in the Verkhovna Rada people’s Deputy Vasily Nimchenko (Opposition bloc) turned off the microphone for unethical behavior, according to UKRINFORM.

So, during consideration of an amendment by the Chairman of the Committee on culture and spirituality Nicholas knyazhytsky said that in a sessional hall “there are many people who do not want to protect the Ukrainian language and want to destroy it”.

Nimchenko took this statement in his address, saying that knyazhytsky asserts that alleged in the session hall there are people who “invite the invaders.” Thus, referring to the Chairman of the relevant Committee, Nimchenko demanded from him to “control the market” and threatened that knyazhytskyy will be responsible for it.

Reacting to the incident, the Deputy Chairman of the Parliament Oksana Syroid asked to turn off Nimchenko microphone and urged MPs to behave ethically.

“I appeal to fellow MPs: you will either be ethical to have a discussion, or I’ll turn the microphone off,” said Syroid.

We will remind, on the eve of the Parliament of the day has considered more than 300 amendments to the language law.

As you know, the Council endorsed a basis in the first reading the draft law On ensuring the functioning of Ukrainian as the state language on 4 September last year.
