The U.S. state Department considers the Ukrainian radical organization C14 and Nazarus “hate groups”. This is stated in the published on Wednesday, March 13, the report of the Bureau of democracy, human rights and democracy in the United States.

The document States that over the past year there were cases when the “group hatred” of detained people with the obvious connivance of law enforcement bodies. In particular, the C14 members illegally detained the man, who was suspected of involvement in DNR and gave it to the SBU. Probably talking about the Brazilian fighter Rafael’s Lusvardi.

In addition, there were reports from the National Association of advocates of Ukraine about the intimidation by C14. For example, in July, the radicals attacked the lawyer Valentina Rybina, who defended the suspects in separatism. In December he burned the car. Also recorded case of an attack on a journalist who was covering the trial of the members of C14, the suspects in the destruction of Roma camps.

It is also reported that there were several cases when the government provided grants or collaborated with “hate groups”. In particular, in June, C14 has allocated almost half a million UAH for the youth summer camp. Media reported that C14 and other “hate group” has signed an agreement with the authorities in different cities on the establishment of patrol units “municipal security” to ensure public safety.
