In Ukraine will change the rules of granting of services of passenger vehicles

From January 1, 2021 Ukraine will prohibit the use of vehicles not equipped with seat belts.

The Ministry of infrastructure of Ukraine plans to 2021 to amend the rules of passenger bus transportation, according to which will be banned buses without seat belts. This was stated at a press conference on Friday, August 17, the Minister of infrastructure Vladimir Omelian, RBC-Ukraine online reports.

According to him, minifrastruktura developed the draft resolution on amendments to the rules of provision of passenger automobile transport.

“Analysis of accidents involving buses have shown that the greatest risk to passengers is represented by buses, converted from cargo vehicles. Also buses that are not equipped with seat belts,” said the Minister.

He said that the changes will come into force in three stages, so carriers will be able to replace buses on high quality.

“From January 1, 2019, prohibit the use of vehicles for transportation of passengers with quantity of places for sitting more than 9; from 1 January 2020 prohibits the use of buses, converted from cargo vehicles for passenger transport; from 1 January 2021 prohibits the use of vehicles not equipped with seat belts, in accordance with the requirements of regulation economic Commission for Europe,” – reported to Omeljan.

We will remind, earlier in Ukraine found 1200 faulty buses.

After a series of deadly accidents, Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman instructed to strengthen inspections of the bus before leaving on route.

Earlier, the police reported that since the beginning of the year in operation, the Carrier found three thousand technically faulty buses and issued 27 thousand violations of traffic rules and rules of transportation of passengers.
