Citizen of Belarus was fined for the St. George’s ribbon

A citizen of Belarus, will pay a fine of 2550 UAH for the use of the flag with the St. George ribbon.

In Ivano-Frankivsk region, the court ordered the citizen of Belarus to pay a fine of 2550 UAH for the use of the flag with the St. George ribbon. The corresponding decision on Thursday, 11 January, published on the website of Yaremche city court.

The court found that a citizen of Belarus Vladimir Zlobin 10 Jan was driving his car in the village polanyca with a flag with a St. George’s ribbon on a windshield.

At the hearing Zlobin admitted his guilt in committing an administrative offense.

The box with the image of St. George ribbons will be confiscated and destroyed.

We will remind, in may 2017, Parliament has banned a St. George’s ribbon, in Ukraine.
