In October the vegetable went up by 8.8 per cent, milk by 3.6%, bread-by 2.7%, eggs by 2.7%. At the same time, fruit prices dropped 4.6%.

Consumer prices in Ukraine in October 2018, compared to September increased by 1.7%. It is reported by the state statistics Committee.

According to the statistical Agency, the products in October rose by 1.5%. Vegetables rose by 8.8%, milk by 3.6%, bread-by 2.7%, eggs by 2.7%. Fruit fell by 4.6%, sugar 2.3%.

Prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco rose 2.3%, clothing and footwear rose by 2.6%, housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels rose by 0.6%.

Within four months, the state statistics service recorded a decrease in prices in may, June and August – zero inflation in July and a deflation of 0.7%. However, in September, inflation in Ukraine jumped to 1.9%.

Earlier, the national Bank raised the inflation forecast for 2018 from 8.9% to 10.1%.

As reported, in September, consumer prices rose by 1.9%.
