Journalists are not allowed into Ukraine

Isakov gave a paper in which as an explanation for the ban was called the decision of the security Service of Ukraine.

German journalist Saadi Isakov, who came to Ukraine to cover the rallies and mourning events on may 2 in Odessa, was not allowed into the country, reports TASS with slyly on the attorney of record may 2 Kirill Shevchuk, who represents the interests of the “Antimaydana”.

“Saadi Isakov at passport control were forbidden to cross the border of Ukraine without explanation. Now he is in the transit zone, and at 23:00 it will be sent back to Germany”, – TASS quoted a lawyer.

Shevchuk also noted that the journalist was prohibited to meet with an attorney, not handed documentary explanation of the prohibition of entry into the country, but also deprived of the right to appeal the decision.

In consequence Isakov has provided a document in which as an explanation for the ban was called the decision of the security Service of Ukraine. The reason for the decision of the SBU, according to counsel, were not named.

Earlier, the Polish journalist Tomasz Matejczuk denied entry to Ukraine.

According to the journalist, the Ukrainian border guards invited him to the office and said he was denied entry to Ukraine for a period of 5 years.

Mateychuk, too, went to Odessa on the anniversary of the tragedy on may 2.
