Rector of the Moscow theological Academy, Archbishop Ambrose of the guards were not allowed to Ukraine.

In Ukraine is not allowed the rector of the Moscow theological Academy, Archbishop Ambrose. He said this on Wednesday, November 7, in his telegrams-channel.

In particular, the Confessor said that he came to Kyiv to participate in divine services and in the Assembly the bottom of the Kiev theological Academy, but he was detained at a checkpoint at the airport. In the Department of the border service of Ukraine talked with him, and then refused entry.

The document, according to the Archbishop, as the official reasons for the refusal provided unofficial purpose of the visit. Ambrose called it “blatantly contrived” as it was an invitation from the rector of the Kiev theological Academy.

Russian priest linked his non-admission to Ukraine with the last statement of the President Petro Poroshenko that the Russian Orthodox Church and the armed forces have nothing to do on the Ukrainian territory.

Earlier Finnish Church supported Tomos for Ukraine.

We will remind, on 3 November during a visit to Istanbul Petro Poroshenko and Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew signed a cooperation agreement between Ukraine and the Patriarchate of Constantinople. According to Poroshenko, the agreement completes the process of granting of the Tomos Ukraine, and, according to Bartholomew, it can speed up the process.
