The Director of the first part Ursulyak has refused to direct the sequel

The actor was here shooting the second season of Elimination.

Actor Vladimir Mashkov was not allowed to continue shooting the series “Liquidation” in Odessa. This was told by Director Sergey Chliyants, according to Medusa.

As told Chliyants, a year ago, “senior colleagues” asked him to participate in the filming of the second part of the series, and despite a “difficult” time, all went well.

“Local authorities and representatives of law enforcement agencies expressed strong support for the project, and the most assured in the desire to actively help the film. And suddenly, like a bolt from the blue: Actor Vladimir Mashkov denied entry to Ukraine. What is the Elimination without David Gotsman?! So: shooting thwarted,” he told Chliyants.

According to the publication, the ban on entry is associated with the visit to the Crimea, where Mashkov starred in the movie “the Crew”. According to the Ukrainian laws in Crimea you can not enter without the permission of the Ukrainian authorities.

We will remind, Vladimir Mashkov played in the series “Liquidation” the main role of David Gotsman, head of Department on struggle against gangsterism of the Odessa criminal investigation Department.

Series by Sergei Ursulyak was released in 2007. In 2015, it became known that the series will continue. Ursulyak refused to take it off.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Vyacheslav Kirilenko said that the 2 day festival Atlas in Ukraine is not allowed seven singers from Russia.
