The school curriculum in Ukraine it is necessary to unload from unfounded information. This was stated by the Minister of education and science of Ukraine Liliya Hrynevych, speaking from the rostrum of the Parliament during the question hour, which was broadcast “112 Ukraine”.

According to her, work on upgrading education is a matter of perspective on which it is necessary to work already today.

Hrynevych stressed that today school curricula require unloading from unfounded information.

“It is necessary to take into account the competence needed by the child for modern life, in particular, to think critically, analyze, work in teams, skills of financial literacy and entrepreneurship”, – said the Minister.

For this purpose the Ministry has set up relevant working groups of experts and specialists from all items that start working on unloading of programs and modernizing the content of education.

In addition, the Ministry plans to sign an agreement on Ukraine’s participation in international research Row in 2018. Thanks to this, Ukraine will be able to see the modern state of secondary education among other countries in the organization for economic cooperation and development.
