According to him, the country’s social security system encourages people not to marry.

“The problem is that we have created such a social mechanism, which leads to the fact that people today simply unprofitable to register the marriage. Then, when you assign subsidies you can avoid accounting of their income, if you don’t have a husband – you get help as a single mother, you receive state social assistance, the poverty. Our social security system, as it is not scary sounds, encourages people not to marry,” said Reva.

Earlier, the Cabinet changed the rules of the payment of money upon the birth of a child.
