Lyudmila Denisova does not receive medical certificate about the condition of prisoners of Ukrainians in Russia

The Russian side has provided the information two months ago about the state of health of the Ukrainian prisoners, says the Ombudsman.

Verkhovna Rada Commissioner on human rights Lyudmila Denisova said that the Russian side in response to her requests provides up to date information on the state of health of the Ukrainian prisoners.

She wrote about this on his page in Facebook on Tuesday, October 13.

“To my inquiry about the health of Baluja, Capucha, Degermendzhy and Jepparov said Mikhail Fedotov (head of the Council on human rights under the President of the Russian Federation – ed.). Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation wrote that the Ukrainian Vladimir Baluch starving. Not more than 200 days, counted only 30. And like at the end of April, the prisoner resumed eating. But we all know that only 9 Oct Mr Baloch wrote a letter about the suspension of the protest to the time phase in the colony”, – I wrote to Denisov.

According to her, the health of Baluja and three other political prisoners, the Russian doctors is ostensibly satisfactory, but not give Ukraine any medical documents.

“Russian official says that all the guys examine doctors and provide them with necessary medical care. I am tired of reading this lie of the Russian Federation without medical certificates who regularly call and still waiting,” said the Ombudsman.

Denisov also noted that Fedotov has provided the answer on the August request.

“Think about it: it’s been almost two months. Information about the health of our political prisoners is simply irrelevant,” she concluded.

Lyudmila Denisova informed that a prisoner in Russia Ukrainian Oleg Sentsov in critical condition “almost outside” after the hunger strike. She demanded Sentsov’s best independent specialists.
