Such measures will be taken in the case, if there will be unforeseen circumstances which can occur because of a British exit from the EU.

The Irish government in connection with Brexit is going to transport 200 thousand tons of oil reserves of the country from UK to Ireland or to other European countries, according to the Sunday Independent.

According to the newspaper, the decision was made for reasons of national security. Similar measures will be taken in the case, if there will be unforeseen circumstances which can occur because of a British exit from the European Union.

It is expected that the decision on the transfer of stocks of oil and oil products will be finally approved by the government during the meeting of the Cabinet, which will be held July 25.

We will remind, negotiations on the terms of a British exit from the EU will be held through June 2017 in Brussels. Formal release is scheduled for March 29, 2019.
