In the official newspaper of the government published a decree Poroshenko on the military situation with a different expiration date.

In Uriadovyi courier on Tuesday, November 27, published a decree of the President of Petro Poroshenko on the introduction of martial law for 60 days from 14:00 on 26 November.

Note, under clause 2, article 190 of the regulations of the Verkhovna Rada, “the corresponding decree of the President of Ukraine enters into force after its approval by the Verkhovna Rada and immediately announced through the media or made public in another way”.

At the same time, the Parliament voted for a Poroshenko on martial law for 30 days.

The same term was confirmed by the head of the NSDC Oleksandr Turchynov, UNIAN news Agency reports.

“The date of the beginning of martial law in the decision voted for by the Verkhovna Rada – 26 Nov 14:00”, – said Turchinov.

As stated in the explanatory Memorandum to the revised draft law approving the presidential decree On the introduction of martial law in Ukraine, published on the website of the Verkhovna Rada, the President “proposed to introduce in Ukraine from 14 o’clock 00 minutes 26 November 2018 for a period of 30 days up to 14 hours 00 minutes on 26 Dec 2018 the military situation “.

Besides, on the website of the Parliament in the Annex to the decree of the President it is noted that the head of state decided “to introduce in Ukraine martial law from 14 o’clock 00 minutes 26 November 2018 for a period of 30 days up to 14 hours 00 minutes on 26 Dec 2018”.

Note, on the eve of the decree Poroshenko on the military situation there is a new item that was not on the President’s website and which was not discussed at the meeting of the NSDC.
