The government of Japan intends to refrain from entering into contracts with Chinese telecommunications companies Huawei and ZTE Corporation. The preparation of a relevant restraining order on Friday, December 7, Reuters reported, citing informed sources.

At the end of November it became known that the US government is trying to persuade its allies to abandon the use of telecommunications equipment produced by Chinese group Huawei. The manufacturer has long been under the close supervision of Western intelligence agencies suspect that the supplied equipment can be used for espionage in the interests of the Chinese authorities.

China, unfortunately, reacted to the publication Reuters. China expresses “serious concern” in connection with the circulating in the press publications, said the representative of the foreign Ministry of this country. Huawei and ZTE Corporation, a long – term business partners of the Japanese side, he said. Tokyo needs to give Chinese corporations a chance to work on the same terms as national companies. In addition, Beijing should refrain from any steps that undermine the “mutual trust and cooperation”, said the representative of the Chinese foreign Ministry.

Earlier it was reported that the US is trying to persuade allies not to cooperate with Huaweiиз for cybersecurity issues.
