The ex-Minister of Finance headed the public organization.

In Ukraine, started the non-political public organization of the Kyiv aspen Institute (The Aspen Institute ), which will implement leadership programs for representatives of various spheres of activity.

The Supervisory Council of the organization headed by former Minister of Finance of Ukraine Natalia Yaresko, the Executive Director was Sergey Koshman.

“We are launching the aspen Institute Kiev at a time when Ukraine is moving forward from the Soviet past to European politics, economy, culture… We are proud to have joined the process”, – quotes Jaresko at the opening of the Institute of Interfax-Ukraine.

She noted that the programs of this organization in different countries of the world to help leaders in different fields: education, international Affairs, communications, culture.

Vice-President of the aspen Institute United States Elliot Gerson, said that the initiative of this organization in Ukraine exists for almost 9 years and in its framework held workshops for Ukrainian leaders. “This launch is the ability to integrate Ukrainian leaders to the network of values based on the values of leadership,” he said.

Gerson stressed that Kiev aspen Institute is an independent Ukrainian organization. “Is not some franchise section of the organization. This is Ukrainian organization, under Ukraine’s control, Ukrainian and Ukrainian Finance issues. She is an equal partner of other organizations aspen Institute on the world,” he explained.
