Kherson-Avia has sold 114 of the engines of the helicopter Ka-26

Engines for decades lying on the premises under the open sky. Their operation is prohibited in Ukraine for four years.

National aviation company Kherson-Avia sold on the OpenMarket platform (SETS) 114 of the engines of the helicopter Ka-26 for 1.6 million. On Thursday, March 21, reported the press service SETS.

It is noted that the money will go to cover debts on wages and development of the enterprise.

“These engines for four years is prohibited for use in Ukraine, but with a starting price of UAH 503 172 the auction ended at 1 213 620 UAH, representing an increase of 222% of the nominal value. Thanks to the sale of the lot plus the Kherson-Air will close down the debt on a salary and will receive additional funds for the development of enterprises,” – commented on the results of bidding, the General Director of GP SETS Victor Vishnev.

The engines have been on the premises for decades in wooden boxes under the open sky.

M-14В26 – Soviet aircraft piston radial air-cooled engine. Used on many types of light aircraft and helicopters in the second half of the twentieth century.

Earlier it was reported that part of the “Avakov helicopters” were used. Thus, of the 55 helicopters, which the Ukrainian law enforcers have to buy from France, 21 helicopters were previously in use.
