An updated Memorandum of cooperation with the International monetary Fund can be agreed in the coming weeks. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine Oleksandr danylyuk.

“Now, when appointed the new government, that is, the second side (the agreement – ed.), reaching agreement on a new Memorandum is a matter of weeks,” he said in a video interview published on the website of the Ministry.

Danyluk explained that the break in the cooperation with the IMF was due to temporary political instability in Ukraine, while the parties continue to adhere to a common vision about the necessary reforms.

“Now I’m going back to Kiev and tomorrow (April 13 – ed.) will continue to work with the IMF mission,” he said.

As reported, the IMF mission may 10, began work in Ukraine in the framework of the second review of the eff EFF. The mission will run until may 18.

We will remind, earlier the Cabinet of Ministers said that Ukraine hopes to complete negotiations on the revision of the Memorandum with the IMF and obtain a tranche for $ 1.7 billion until the end of June.

International rating Agency Moody’s predicted that Ukraine will receive the IMF tranche in August.
