Moody’s analysts predicted the date of receipt by Ukraine IMF tranche

The Agency notes that the new Cabinet has resumed the reforms demanded by the IMF.

International rating Agency Moody’s forecasts, Ukraine will receive the next tranche from the IMF in the first half of 2016. This is stated in the report Moody’s published on the Agency’s website.

Moody’s analysts believe that for Ukraine to remain priority issues rebalancing the economy and reducing the budget deficit.

However, further progress in reforms, according to the Agency, will depend on the continuation of cooperation between Ukraine and the IMF, which is likely to resume after several months of delays.

Moody’s reminds that Ukraine’s progress on political and economic reforms stalled during the preparation of the state budget at the end of last year and more recently during the protracted formation of a new coalition government.

The Agency notes that the new government began a rapid movement for the resumption of the reform program and address a number of issues that the IMF demanded from Ukraine.
