The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said that the upcoming elections in Russia illegitimate. He told about it in interview “to Echo Moscow”.

His position, he explains that they will take place, including on the territory of annexed Crimea.

“I think the elections in Russia are illegitimate because they occur on the territory of the occupied Crimea. Moreover, these elections are not legitimate, neither in the political nor in the legal sense. As for some practical aspects, we must first look at the lawyers, and to comment on some statements of members of the state Duma I, with your permission, I will not” – said Klimkin.

As reported, the CEC of the Russian Federation confirmed that in Ukraine there will be four polling stations for the elections to the state Duma.
