The personal lawyer of the President of the United States Donald trump Rudolph Giuliani, decided to award the title of honorary mayor of Anatevka – built at the expense of the Jewish community settlement in the Kiev region. Said this yesterday, the chief Rabbi of Ukraine and Kiev Moshe Reuven Asman on his page in Facebook.

The Rabbi noted that Rudolph Giuliani is known worldwide as a fighter for human rights. He also has repeatedly provided support for important Jewish initiatives.

“That’s why we made the decision on the award of the Rudolph Giuliani an honorary mayor of Anatevka our historic town, sung by Sholom Aleichem, birthplace of Fiddler on the roof. Despite the circumstances, I hope that he will take the title. It would be a great honor to Anatevka and for the entire Jewish community,” wrote Moshe Reuven Asman.

According to him, on may 14 was a scheduled meeting, which invited hundreds of important members of the Jewish community, MPs, businessmen, journalists, students and foreign guests.

“In honor of this event, after the lecture Rudy Giuliani about the situation in the middle East, planned bookmark triangular Park of friendship Ukraine-USA-Israel. This idea we had to delay,” he said.

Recall that Rudolph Giuliani canceled a previously announced visit to Ukraine to meet with newly elected President Vladimir Zelensky because of enemies in his environment.

Giuliani said that he would be in “an environment of people who are enemies of the President, and in some cases enemies of the United States”. Among these people, he called people’s Deputy Serhiy Leshchenko.

He Leshchenko said that the Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko misinformed lawyer’s trump to stay in his post.
