For 25 years the city has changed. Grey, business, industrial and scientific center of living for the country, city-worker turned into a fun, reckless reveler, living for guests. Hard work of the staff is hidden under the bright carnival colors. Grey workdays of the past was replaced by a festive and colourful bustle of the present. Perhaps not the city has changed in terms of higher education. All the universities of the city as it was, and remains prestigious. Competitions for admission in them remains high. The most talented young people after graduation, committed to employment abroad. Others are looking for themselves, but more often not find work anywhere. And the city found itself. Life in this bubbling and beckoning lights of the Windows and the holidays.

Lviv open to the world. The city was changing and so were its inhabitants. We are fortunate that we now see the city in full and not abandoned and destroyed as it was until recently. But how hard was this change. Lviv open to change.
