Belarus leader met with former Ukrainian President Yushchenko and said again about the smuggling of weapons.

The President of Belarus said about the large number of weapons coming into the country from Ukraine. He said this at a meeting with the third President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko, BelTA reports Monday, October 8.

Lukashenka underlined that Minsk does not intend to interfere in the events in Ukraine.

“Roughly speaking, it is not our business, if we do not ask. Although, to be honest, the impact of events in Ukraine for us is very great. Especially in the sense that we are concerned – the flow of arms across the Ukrainian border. We seized a lot of weapons,” he said.

Lukashenka also added that the facts are revealed, when the weapon comes to Belarus from Ukraine through sosednie of the country.

Note, Lukashenko has complained about the illegal supply of weapons to Belarus, therefore ordered to increase the number of guards on the border with Ukraine.

In the state border service of Ukraine the words of Lukashenko about the weapon denied.
