At the meeting, according to sources, the press considered the actions of Belarus in the face of pressure from Russia.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held a meeting on the issue of Russian pressure from the Supreme Belarusian leadership, and called for “the end stand for independence”, reports the Belarusian newspaper Nasha Niva, citing two independent sources.

It is noted that the meeting addressed the actions of Belarus in the face of pressure from the Russian Federation.

“Had a great meeting with the President. It was said to end stand for independence. Everyone supported it,” said the first source.

The source also noted that some people from the government have expressed the view that tax maneuvers need not respond with meetings and reforms.

According to unnamed employees of state structures, officials are instructed to “follow more closely the information field”.

Earlier, Lukashenko said that Moscow wants to incorporate Belarus into Russia under the pretext of “deep integration”.

Also Alexander Lukashenko has accused Russia of unfair competition. According to him, “the Russians behave savagely,” and “claim, as if we were vassals from them.”
