The attacks on activists indicate the beginning of a plan of destabilization in the South of Ukraine, according to the attorney General.

The head of the Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko commented on the resonance of attacks on officials and activists that took place in Odessa and Kherson.

In particular, at a briefing Thursday, August 2, at the site of CSO alpha near Kiev, he responded to the situation with the assassination of the Advisor to city mayor of Kherson Catherine Gandzyuk and the incident with the activists of the National movement Mikhail Kozakovem and Gregory Kuzma.

According to Lutsenko, the attempted murder of public activists showed an increase in the number of violations in the South of Ukraine.

“For us, certain actions regarding violations in the South of Ukraine. Today’s events in Odessa, it has also shown,” – said Lutsenko.

According to him, “began the destabilization plan”.

The attorney General announced the meeting with law enforcement for all offences, directed against well-known Pro-Ukrainian public activists.

“I will literally tomorrow in Poltava, and tomorrow evening we will hold a meeting with security officials at the maximum concentration to achieve results in all offenses directed against well-known Pro-Ukrainian activists in the South of Ukraine, and beyond,” he said.

While Lutsenko did not remember the murder of the activist, a former member of ATO in the Donbass battalion Vitaly Oleshko in Berdyansk.
