The public Prosecutor declared that will not be a member of the electoral headquarters of Petro Poroshenko and “refused to participate in the meetings of any election headquarters”.
Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko declared that in may 2019 plans “to return to political activity”.
“I want to finalize before the presidential elections (spring 2019), I believe that this will ensure that they will be held according to the law and within the established time, without fantasies on this subject ... as soon As I finish, in about may, I think to return to political activity”, – said Lutsenko in an interview to “TSN.Tyzhden”.
However, he assured that in the spring “he will have to report”.
Lutsenko also said that will not be a member of the electoral headquarters of Petro Poroshenko and “refused to participate in the meetings of any election headquarters”.
“Today the Prosecutor General hampered not only by defendants in criminal proceedings, but the participants in political processes. I refused to participate in the meetings of any election headquarters. In fact, the offer was only one, as you know …. I am not a member of the electoral headquarters of the incumbent President”, – said the Prosecutor General.
“Also, I’m not going to pay attention to procedural processes relative to other participants in the electoral race,” he added.
Lutsenko assured that specially prosecutions against participants in the race will be.
“Although I know that some of them are dreaming to be questioned. And then you can become a “victim”. Will not wait. I don’t fabricate things and not questioning the political goal to discredit or raise the rating,” – said Lutsenko.
