A restaurant in the capital closed due to new rental rates charged by the owner of the building. McDonald’s stated that it has made economically feasible the activities of the institution.

Closed one of the main restaurants is located near the metro station Pechersk.

“The school ceased operations in connection with the termination of the lease of the premises. The new proposed rental rate was economically disadvantageous for the company McDonald’s Ukraine”, – said the Agency head of public relations of McDonald’s Anastasiya Zrazhevska.

The first restaurant of McDonald’s in the country was opened in Kiev on 24 may 1997. Now the network daily serves about 350 thousand visitors. Staff around the country has about 7.5 thousand people. In 2016, the McDonalds restaurants in Ukraine were visited by about 85 million people.
