The Cabinet and Parliament trying to convince the Ukrainians that are acting in their best interest, said leader of the Ukrainian choice.

The Verkhovna Rada approved the so-called pension reform, once again proved that acting in the interests of lenders, not of the Ukrainian people. So the leader of the public movement “the Ukrainian choice – the Right of the people” Viktor Medvedchuk.

According to him, the real authors of the pension reform have become creditors of Ukraine. Medvedchuk stressed that the reforms approved by the government and voted BP was reduced to a veiled increase in the retirement age, the abolition of privileges and change the formula for calculating the amount of pension payments.

“Today we see the government members and MPs who supported pension reform, trying to convince Ukrainians that are acting in their best interests. However, the above arguments (we “sovremenik” pensions and remove 15% tax for working pensioners) do not withstand any criticism,” he said.

Recall, 3 October, Parliament adopted a pension reform, which envisages the modernization of pensions since October, and raising the minimum insurance period for retirement from 15 to 25 years from 1 January 2018.
