Moody’s, uluchshilos the forecast for Ukraine

The Outlook for the banking system improved from “negative” to “stable”.

International rating Agency Moody’s improved the forecast of Ukraine’s banking system amid expectations of a recovery of the economy over the next 12-18 months, according to a press release from the company.

In particular, the forecast improved to “stable” from “negative”. As noted, this will allow to constrain further deterioration in Bank asset quality.

In addition, Moody’s believes that the recovery in the volume of deposits in national currency and limited the amount of required refinancing will improve the financial security of banks in the aforementioned period.

Earlier, Moody’s has said that Ukraine will receive IMF tranche by August.
