Transcarpathia blocked the road, demanding the decentralization of the Muscovite

Several dozen residents of the village of Kholmok blocked the highway Kyiv – Chop, demanding to give them permission to establish the United territorial communities of eight villages of Uzhgorod district.

Near Uzhgorod (Transcarpathian region) residents of the village of Kholmok on Tuesday, April 24, blocked the highway Kyiv – Chop, passing it on a pedestrian crossing. So they demand from the regional authorities the introduction of decentralization in the region, reports Мukachevo.net.

Noted that dozens of residents came out to protest, demanding to give them the permission to establish the United territorial community. People were holding banners with the inscription “for the Community to be”, “Moskal, do not hinder decentralization.”

In connection with the protest on the highway the huge stopper was formed.

 

 

As reported, April 19, residents of eight villages of Uzhgorod district, namely Meany, Kholmok, Dnipropetrovsk, Kontsovo, Storozhnytsia, Tarnivtsi, Shyshlivtsi, Botfalva wishing to join OTO, went on a peaceful protest in front of the Transcarpathian regional state administration. They demanded a meeting with Governor Gennady Moskal, but he ignored them, noting that to solve the issue by rallies, banners and speakers impossible.

Earlier it was reported that in Transcarpathia the villagers rebelled because of the decision of the court.
