Attendance in Parliament is deteriorating

All sessions of Parliament in October called for only 33% of MPs.

In October, the meetings of the Verkhovna Rada on average, was attended by 318 people’s deputies of 422, which is the worst figure for 2017. It is reported by the Committee of voters of Ukraine.

Previously, the worst results attendance was recorded in February of 2017, when in the hall of the Parliament was, on average, was 326 MPs. In March, the figure was 332 MP, April – 341, may – 334, June – 343, July – 341, September – 328.

At the same time, according to a written record, a total of all the meeting of Parliament in October called for only 33% of MPs (139 of 422). 58 – missed more than half of the meetings.

Six deputies did not attend a single meeting. They are representatives of “Opposition bloc” Yevhen Bakulin and Vadim Rabinovich, independent, Dmitry Yarosh and Vyacheslav Konstantinovsky, who has filed a statement of resignation of Deputy mandate, and MPs-fugitives Alexander Onishchenko and Sergey Klyuev.

Among the factions and groups of the worst attendance records in the group “Vidrodzhennya”, the best – the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko.

On average in October in the audience there were 83% of the deputies of the faction PPO, 79 per cent of the popular front and the Radical party, 75% – Samopomich, 74% – independent, 73% of Fatherland, 62% – Opposition bloc, 61% of the will of the people, 58% in Vidrodzhennya.

Only in October was held 11 plenary meetings of the Verkhovna Rada.

As reported Корреспондент.net, fines for truancy deputies of the Verkhovna Rada managed to save about 3 million UAH. This was stated by the speaker of Parliament Andriy Parubiy. According to him, the penalties for missing the meeting of Parliament brought economic benefits.
