Museums annexed Crimea would appeal the decision to the district court of Amsterdam on the transfer of Ukraine “Scythian gold”. This was announced by Director of the East Crimean historical and cultural Museum-reserve, controlled by the occupation authorities, Tatyana umrikhina, writes “Interfax”.

“We have three months to prepare the appeal and, of course, we will use” – said umrikhina.

She added that he regarded the decision as politically motivated. “This decision contradicts international practice and traditions of cooperation between museums. It is a disgrace to the entire judicial system of the Netherlands”, – said the Director of the Museum.

Recall, the district court of Amsterdam today decided to return to Ukraine collection of Scythian gold, brought to the exhibition prior to the annexation of Crimea by Russia.

Scythian gold in the Netherlands since February 2014 and was brought to the exhibition “Crimea – Golden island in the Black sea”. But by the end of February 2014, Crimea was annexed by Russia, and the Dutch confused, to whom to return the Scythian gold.
