“Naftogaz in 2018 and paid to the state budget 136,5 billion UAH of taxes and dividends. That is, these funds were received from Naftogaz to the state Treasury account. Slightly less than half of these funds, about 56 billion UAH came to the state Treasury account as a result of our victory in the Stockholm arbitration on transit contract,” wrote Vitrenko in Facebook on Friday, March 15.

The Manager says that if victory was not obtained, and the arbitration Tribunal in Stockholm, in its decision would not have spent the appropriate set-off, Naftogaz would have to pay these 56 billion UAH (2.1 billion USD). not in the state Treasury, and Gazprom for the confiscation from the gas.

“And if we didn’t win in the Stockholm arbitration and the gas supply contract, Naftogaz would pay Gazprom in 2018, a further approximately 1.8 billion dollars. for the selected gas, and about $ 56 billion. on the clause “take or pay”. The hryvnia is about 1.5 trillion,” – said Vitrenko.

As reported, speaking in Parliament Groisman said that on account of the Treasury no money from winning Naftogaz in the Stockholm arbitration claim to Gazprom – and therefore “the subject of the award for employees no”.

Groisman demanded to reconsider the decision of Naftogaz on premiums.
